Friday at Four: Reflection, Reinvention, and a little Miles Davis
We always seem too busy to focus on the small things, yet there is nothing that could be more important. When’s the last time you stepped away from your desk and took a hard look at what you are doing?
Wow. Sensory overload up here in Boston. Day two has come and gone, and I’m just hoping my sketchbook has enough pages left for the rest of the conference. I began my day with “Under the Covers with Chip Kidd.”
After landing in Boston around 2:00pm, I rushed to the conference center not wanting to miss a thing. And I am glad I did just that. My mad rush to drop off my bags in my hotel room allowed me to hear Stefan Mumaw, Creative Director of Callahan Creek, speak on generating ideas in greater quantity and quality.

First, let me just start by saying I really hate daylight savings time. Lost an hour, so getting up bright and early was now getting up bright and earlier, and even still went to a marathon SIX sessions.
