If you know me, you know I love a great cocktail. Ever been to a high-end restaurant or bar and they serve you a cocktail with crystal clear ice? It’s next to impossible to make at home… until now. Here’s a great company that has figured it out, and upped your home bartender skills: Wintersmiths (I recommend the giant cubes rather than the spheres).

At the top of my list this year is the Jambox by Jawbone wireless bluetooth speaker. I'm one of those people that always has to have music on in the background, so this is the perfect solution for top quality sound on the go. With a battery life of up to 15 hours, the Jambox comes in a variety of sizes and colors, and they've even recently come out with a waterproof model.

For some particular reason, I immensely enjoy koozies. Perhaps it’s the way it keeps my drink colder, longer, or maybe because the wet cold doesn’t transfer to my hand. Or having something fun wrapped around my drink gives me joy (it's the little things that make me smile). This special koozie is durable, and will "keep your drink as cold as science allows." Check it out: http://yeticoolers.com/colster.

For working out and it’s just fun: I love to workout and dance, but sometimes even that can turn into a routine. So for those that like to tap into their inner child, I would suggest an LED hula hoop (I have been hoping for a Future Moodhoop for the past three years, but any LED hoop can be fun). It glows with tons of mesmerizing designs, plus it is great for the body and soul. No party will be the same after one spin! Visit Moodhoops. (Have fun)

If you are like me, your photo count is in the thousands. Not only that, but they live in the “cloud” never to see the light of day again. That’s why I love my Polaroid Instant Film Camera. We keep it out in the living room and snap photos that we hang on the fridge. Now fun family moments are out for display rather than floating around in the stratosphere.

Coloring is back! It’s something that we all grew up doing and I for one never really grew out of the enjoyment I got when coloring. Today’s adult coloring books are super trendy and make the perfect gift for any age. Even my 23-year-old boyfriend enjoys relaxing on the couch with a box of colored pencils and this beautifully designed coloring book.

Can you own a fitness tracker and be stylish at the same time? If you follow Xdesign on Facebook (if you don’t, shame on you), you know we have been participating in Fitbit challenges over the last couple of months. We all love our Fitbits. However, there comes a time when you want to wear your Fitbit, but need to be a bit more polished. I came across this website a while ago and already own two of the bracelets for my Fitbit Charge HR: Funktional Wearables

My favorite gadget right now is my Fitbit Charge HR. Not only does it keep track of my steps from tennis and running around the office, but allows me to participate in family fitness challenges. Even though my daughter lives over a thousand miles away, we do family challenges a few times a month competing who can get the most steps.

Although I'm a programmer by day and often by night, I love to draw inspiration from other forms of art like calligraphy. It's a great way to take a break and clear my head after staring at a screen all day. On my list this year is a Windsor Prose Pen Set, which includes ink, pens and nib heads. It's a top of the line set to accompany my steadily growing collection.
