How did you first become involved in Xdesign? My dad actually told me about the job posting! He grew up with an Xdesign alumnus, and so he was connected through that. The job seemed perfect for me, so I applied, and here I am!
Before working at Xdesign, what was the most interesting job you’ve ever had? Dressing up in a full mascot-style costume of a children’s storybook character for an event at a bookstore
If you could switch job roles with anyone else at Xdesign, who would it be and why? Pixel the office fish; he gets to swim all day and free food delivered to his door!
If you could do any other job in the world, what would it be and why? Dairy goat farmer because then I could have all the animals I love but can’t have where I am now.
When you aren’t hard at work, where might we find you chasing your passion? Either reading or working on a story or doing something with animals
Do you participate in any community involvement? Yes. I volunteer with my church, Trafficking Hope (a local anti-slavery group), and the Companion Animal Alliance shelter.
What is one fun fact about you that others wouldn’t expect? I can make a pretty decent grouping at the firing range.
We definitely wouldn’t expect that, but we’ll be sure to keep it in mind.
