Color Is in the Eye of the Beholder

We’ve all seen the black and blue (or is it gold and white?) dress, and we’ve all got an opinion on what colors we see. Allow us to explain the confusing perceptions of these colors before we break the internet with another trending hashtag.

So how do people really perceive color? As it turns out, our language plays a huge part in how we see color (so does good color correction and quality photography, but we’ll a…dress that another day. See what I did there?).
